In my dreams, I have swum with whales in the warm waters off Maui. On a cool Hawaiian sunrise, as I floated on the waves of Hanauma Bay, I felt an overwhelming presence in the sea and a change in the wind, As I looked toward the far entrance to the bay a mother and calf breached toward the heavens.
My heart almost burst with joy.

Known for their haunting songs and amazing aerial ballet these behemoths of the deep are highly intelligent and social forming small intimate groups which stay together throughout their lifetimes.
