The magnificence of the arctic is slowly being lost. Whether by the earth’s natural ebbs and flow of temperatures, or by man’s carelessness or both, global warming is slowly advancing on cold wild places melting the glaciers and put all beings who depend on them in danger. Polar bear population in Alaska and northern Canada declined by 40% between 2001-2010 according to the World Wildlife fund. Likewise, 2 species of arctic seals have been put on the endangered list since 2013.

These incredible habitants of the north look hopefully to the future for humans to become better caretakers of the Earth.
