In 2019, the Sunday at Central concert series commissioned Jennifer Hambrick to write a series of poems for a live performance of The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi. Hambrick’s poems respond to Vivaldi's timeless violin concertos and are intensely subjective, while also giving voice to the universal human experience of relational cycles situated within the metaphorical context of the cycles of nature.

For artist Evangelia Philippidis, Jennifer's poetry unfolded images in her mind like gifts from a celestial soul--Nature herself as the endless universal cycle, bringing forth, maturing, reclaiming, and re-creating all of life through the seasons.

Ann Alaia Wood's elegant yet raw calligraphy is the thread that wove all four images together in a complete experience made up of diverse yet inseparable arts.
